Groups
“For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.” Matthew 18:20 (NASB)
Jesus taught the twelve in a small group setting. The apostles in turn taught others in that same setting. Even from the day of Pentecost, the church was a series of smALL groups. This allowed the community to nurture one another and to build each other up to not only reach a higher potential, but to fulfill the great commission. The smALL group model was and is the best way to reach and teach all nations.
The primary goal of the smALL group program is to connect individuals with a community in Christ. So what is a smALL group? A smALL group is simply two or more people who gather together and reflect God’s grace. Whether that group focuses on reading scripture or hiking, they are connected to each other and the community of faith.
